Mayotte

Mayotte is a small, lesser-known French island in the Indian Ocean, ringed by one of the largest lagoons in the world and quiet waters good for snorkeling and boat trips to spot sea turtles and migrating humpback whales. Tourism infrastructure is limited compared to nearby Réunion, and few outside visitors make it here.
