Sources requiring attribution
Place names, coordinates, and administrative hierarchy for 34 000+ cities. Data extracted from the GeoNames database.
Historical climate normals and weather forecasts used throughout the app.
Destination descriptions. Content is licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0; see individual article pages for authorship.
Descriptions are derived from Wikipedia content and may be translated or abridged.
Map tiles and Points of Interest (via Overpass API). Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors.
Points of Interest supplementary dataset (Buildings / Places themes, ODbL).
Icons for island and archaeological/heritage-site results in the destination search box.
