Yemen holds some of the Arabian Peninsula's most distinctive architecture, the multi-story mudbrick and gypsum-decorated tower houses of Sanaa's old city, along with the otherworldly dragon's blood trees of Socotra island, found nowhere else on earth. Tipping & local customs

Tipping is not mandatory but is appreciated — leaving about 10% of the bill in nicer restaurants is customary, while taxi drivers don't expect tips though passengers often round up the fare, and tour guides/drivers are typically given around 10%/5% respectively.
