Bermuda

Bermuda feels like a tidy, pastel-colored dream washed up in the middle of the Atlantic. Pink-sand beaches curve along a coastline of coral cliffs and turquoise coves, while pastel cottages with white stepped roofs — built to catch rainwater — line the hills above. Horse Shoe Bay and the cliffs at Warwick Long Bay are made for slow afternoons, and the wreck-strewn waters offshore reward snorkelers and divers. Isolated far out in the ocean, it carries a genteel, unhurried air all its own.
